Chantelle and Nick started their wedding day in West London at Old Marylebone Town Hall, then travelled on a white double-decker bus to the beautiful Bull and Gate Pub in Kentish Town to party the night away - the whole day was perfect.

This wedding was one of my favourite weddings of all time! Chantelle and Nick trusted me to capture their wedding when I was heavily pregnant with my third child with only two weeks to go until my due date - now that is trust! Obviously I had a back-up on standby, but I was lucky enough to be their photographer and enjoyed every minute.

meeting the groom on the steps of old marylebone town hall

Every couple has a unique day and this couple decided to start their story on the steps of Old Marylebone Town Hall. I met Nick and his Groomsman as they arrived and captured their entrance and as they prepared for the guests, Chantelle and her bridesmaids to arrive.

THE FIRST LOOK

Chantelle and Nick decided that they wanted to walk down the aisle together, so I was thrilled that I got to capture their first look at one another before the ceremony in the Westminster Room at Old Marylebone Town Hall. I absolutely love a first look, as it is such a beautiful moment and you can really enjoy that moment together as a couple and have a more intimate moment before being with everyone else.

THE CEREMONY IN THE WESTMINSTER ROOM

The ceremony was beautiful; laughter, tears, love.

THE CONFETTI SHOT ON THE STEPS

Following the ceremony, we did some couple portraits and a few family portraits, as well as the must-have confetti shot on the steps; I highly recommend using paper confetti outside the Old Marylebone Town Hall, as it biodegradable and floats in the air long enough for the perfect shot.

TRAVELLING IN STYLE TO THE BULL AND GATE PUB IN KENTISH TOWN

We all travelled on a white retro double-decker bus to The Bull & Gate Pub in Kentish Town and were greeted with a champagne reception, some beers and some absolutely delicious canapés. Now I am a massive foodie and these did not disappoint - they don't only look good, they taste good. The newly married couple mingled with their family and friends, enjoying a glass or two of champagne before taking their couple portraits.

The Bull and Gate Pub is located in the perfect spot for some beautifully colourful portraits. Chantelle and Nick wanted to focus on enjoying their wedding reception, but the beauty of couple portraits is that it allows you some time to enjoy one another's company as a newly married couple for the first time and we had a great time!

THE WEDDING PARTY

After the couple portraits, we returned to the pub for an epic party, which included a delicious meal, some heartfelt speeches, the cake cutting, an outfit change for the Bride, the bouquet toss and some great dance moves to absolutely classic tunes!
